I am an interdisciplinary qualitative researcher working at the intersection of urban studies, critical caste studies, and feminist geography. My completed research projects have covered issues of agrarian change and labour relations, the political economy of development, and the caste and gender politics of smart city infrastructure. I received my doctoral degree in human geography from Lund University, Sweden in 2017. At present my research focuses on documenting subaltern urban histories and mapping the diasporic life of caste. I am interested in building bridges between critical race theory, anti-caste movements, and feminist scholarship.
